Preferably credit cards, but we also accept Checks, cash and debit cards.

Does a pool need to be serviced every week?

Yes. This is especially important to the functionality of your electrical mechanical systems (pool pump, filter, etc.). It is also important to maintain proper chlorination and that the water is maintained at a neutral pH level.

How long should I run my pool pump each day?

Eight hours daily.

Should I run my pool pump during the day or night?

Run your pool pump during the day if it is professionally serviced. The servicing company will want to know that it is running properly.

How often does my pool filter need to be cleaned?

Your pool filter should be cleaned once a month. If you have your pool deck pressure washed, your pool filter should be cleaned following the pressure washing or no later than two weeks following the pressure washing.

How long should I wait to swim after the pool has been shocked with chlorine?

You should wait at least one hour to swim in your pool after it has been shocked with chlorine. This allows enough time for the chlorine to be evenly mixed with the pool water.

Why is my pump making loud noises?

There are number reasons why a pool pump will run loud or make irregular noises. You should turn off the pool immediately and call your service provider as soon as possible. If you don’t have a service provider, you can call Pool Guys Who Care at 239-599-3289.
